Mint Honey Tea




Servings: 2
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
- ¼ cup fresh mint leaves
- 2 cups boiling water
- 2 teaspoons Manuka honey
Instructions:
- Wash the mint leaves under cold running water thoroughly.
- Then tear the mint leaves roughly.
- Arrange a small-sized strainer over a teapot.
- Place the mint leaves into the strainer.
- Pour the hot water over the mint leaves and immediately cover the teapot.
- Steep for at least 5 minutes.
- With the back of a wooden spoon, gently bruise the mint leaves.
- Press the mint leaves to extract the liquid into the teapot.
- Remove the strainer from the teapot and transfer the tea into serving mugs.
- Stir in the honey and serve immediately.
Ginger Honey Tea

Servings: 6
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Cooking Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 (4-inch) piece fresh ginger
- 8 cups water
- 4 lemons, sliced
- 6 cardamom pods, bruised
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 whole star anise pod
- 3 tablespoons Manuka honey
Instructions:
- Wash the ginger piece under cold running water thoroughly.
- Peel the ginger piece and then chop it roughly.
- In a saucepan, add water and bring to a boil on medium-high heat.
- Stir in ginger, lemon slices and spices and adjust the heat to medium-low.
- Simmer for about 5-10 minutes.
- Through a fine mesh strainer, strain the tea into a pitcher.
- Stir in honey and serve.
Chilled Green Tea
Servings: 3
Preparation Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 cup fresh mint leaves
- 2½ cups boiling water
- 4 green tea bags
- 2 teaspoons Manuka honey
Instructions:
- Wash the mint leaves under cold running water thoroughly.
- In a pitcher, mix water, mint and tea bags.
- Cover and steep for about 5 minutes.
- Refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
- Discard the tea bags and divide the tea into serving glasses.
- Stir in honey and serve.
- Ice cubes, as required
Instructions:
- Wash the blackberries, grapes and mint leaves under cold running water thoroughly.
- Place the blackberries, grapes mint leaves, lime juice, water and honey in a high-power blender and pulse until smooth.
- Divide the ice cubes into two glasses.
- Through a fine mesh strainer, strain the juice and transfer it into glasses over ice.
- Serve immediately.
